“Creative Arts Therapy is an experiential psychotherapeutic approach offered by qualified practitioners
utilising a range of creative modalities. It is holistic – attending to emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual
well-being and aligns well with Indigenous and non-Indigenous models of health and well-being.”
Australia New Zealand Asia Creative Arts Therapy Association
Art Therapy is nothing new. It is as ancient as the first cultures on the planet. Art making has been used for
millennia to seek, shape and share understanding about the world, the community, and the self.
Art Therapy honours non-verbal forms of personal narrative, through pictures and image making and can
include other mediums like sound or movement for self-expression or relaxation.
Each session will be guided by you and how you would like to use this time.
